Michel Bauwens’ talk will focus on how emerging Peer-to-Peer economic
alternatives are transforming society towards caring for the commons and
fostering regenerative practices which could lead humanity towards
sustainable and thriving futures.

As a guest of FutureSharp and the Centre of Governance Innovation in
Johannesburg, Michel Bauwens will deliver a keynote speech titled “Within
or Beyond Capitalism? Four Scenarios for the Emerging Collaborative
Economy” and during Governance Innovation Week there will be a workshop on

will be less academic and will be aimed at inspiring conversation and
deepening the understanding of peer production, peer governance and peer
ownership.
