[Ict4d] Masiphumelele field trip confirmed for Friday 19 June at 11AM

Hi all

We will be meeting in Masiphumelele at the MasiCorp offices at 11AM on
Firday 19 June for the start of the Field visit.

The offices are at
Chasmay Rd, Masiphumelele
coordinates: -34.133155, 18.379218

It is the first entrance on the left as you drive into Chasmay Rd

Hussein and Melissa have offered to provide some transport from UCT to
Masi - anybody else willing to offer transport?, Edwin and I can take
people from Fish Hoek station to Masi if anybody is catching the
train.

The plan is roughly as follows

11AM: Meet at MasiCorp offices and meet some of the MasiCorp staff who
will tell us about the various projects. Do a tour of the various
projects at Chasmay road.
11:30AM: Torsten Stauch shows us the cloud classroom work
12:15AM: Go to Primary school and visit the science and Maths Labs
1:00PM Have lunch at nearby shopping centre
1:30PM Visit Library and computer-training lab
2:00 Visit Living hope - talk to people involved in health care and
agriculture business  e.g. sustainable tunnel (greenhouse) farmers

Aim to leave by 3:00PM to avoid traffic

As we move around Masi I will also talk about the various sites
identified for the CSIR Masi Wireless project and some of the services
we want to run on the network - I might even have my first site up by
then.
