[Ict4d] ECD Hackathon App Idea wins R10k seed funding

Hi all,

the team that I participated in at the ECD (Early Childhood Development)
hackathon on Saturday won R10k in seed funding to develop an app -- Crèche
Connect -- that helps parents find, review, and choose suitable crèches for
their children.

The South African Education Project (SAEP) [1] NGO led our team and was
interviewed by the Cape Times [1], and at *3:50pm* *today* will be
discussing the hackathon and our app idea on *Cape Talk* radio. Please
listen in! And if you have any thoughts on the app itself and suggestions
on how we should take it forward please let me know.
