Dear colleagues in the DigDev Network,



The Sheffield Institute for International Development wishes to appoint two post-doctoral research fellows. Each post is

for two years. We are looking for dynamic, energetic researchers in international development, who have been awarded a

PhD since September 2013 and whose prime motivation is to do world class impactful research.



The requirements of the job are, primarily, to complete a research project of the applicant' own design, publish and apply for further funding opportunities. The post-holders will also take on aspects of SIID’s social media work and organise activities (reading groups, meetings, workshops and seminar series as appropriate) within the research themes.

We will particularly welcome applicants who fit well with one or more of three of SIID’s research themes:

(a) Health, (b) Governance and Advocacy and (c) Digital Technologies, Data and Innovation.
