Subject: Engineering for change's Fellowship Applications 2021 are now open!

Hi Melissa,

I hope this email finds you well despite the global pandemic. And that you and your loved ones are safe!

I am reaching out to you to let you know that the applications for our Fellowship program are now open. We would be grateful for your support in promoting this opportunity to your students wanting or specializing in ICT4D. We are always interested in expanding the opportunities for students in this field and we believe it creates a great pathway for their future careers. We are specially interested in recruiting South African Fellows!

We are recruiting fellows for 2021 until Feb 28th. Find attached the overview of this year's Fellowship program. All the information required is included in this pdf including important dates and the instructions for applying.

Find below the blurb and the call for applicants document with all the information. I can also provide posters if needed. I am attaching one that we have been using on social media. Let me know if you need anything else to promote:

“Applications for the E4C Research Fellowship<https://www.engineeringforchange.org/e4c-fellowship/> are now open until Feb 28th, 2021. The E4C Fellowship is a distinctive workforce development program in engineering for global development serving to activate and empower engineering students and early-career engineers worldwide to solve local and global challenges. Providing a unique platform to develop soft skills, and connect with international mentors and peers from all continents, this Fellowship offers leadership development opportunities that prepare the next generation of technical professionals to reach their fullest potential and deliver solutions that achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. E4C’s Fellows deepen their understanding of engineering for global development through targeted research, analysis and engagement with the E4C community of experts. E4C Fellows are matched with Research Collaborations<https://www.engineeringforchange.org/research/> informed by cross-sector partners, gaining ample professional development opportunities during the Fellowship and beyond through E4C’s Alumni Network. Fellows will have the opportunity to advance their career path through 400+ hours of research, 30 hours of networking online opportunities with their peers and experts advisors, and 30 hours of Learning Modules designed to advance their knowledge in the sector. The program is part time and 100% virtual which provides a unique opportunity for students to continue their training in this field of engineering and social impact despite the current and future travel restrictions. If you have any questions please contact E4C’s program coordinator Marilynn at mclover at asme.org<mailto:mclover at asme.org>. The application overview is attached with all the details of the program including timeline, requirements, and application instructions. “

Thanks so much in advance, and do let me know if you need any additional information to promote
