Dear all,

Please share with your networks information that we are extending the
deadline by two weeks to the *15 October 2019*, and the attached  revised
CfP for circulation.

*Our latest announcement is that travel sponsorship may be awarded to
selected papers, based on application review. In addition to conference
proceedings, articles may be published in a special issue in Elsevier
inter-and multi-disciplinary journal Scientific African
<https://www.journals.elsevier.com/scientific-african>, dedicated to
expanding intra-African research and scientific collaboration, subject to
30% additional work and peer-review.*

We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome on board to the
local chair, Dr Anderson Kehbila

the Stockholm Environment Institute, and Dr Rose Mutiso
<https://mawazoinstitute.org/our-team> of the Mawaso Institute on the
