Dear colleagues,

(I have already been in contact with some of you, so please excuse the duplication of information in this email. The purpose of this email is to try to set a date for the proposed workshop.)

I’m busy putting together a postgrad degree in land administration to meet the challenge raised by the presidential advisory panel on land reform. I would like to host a workshop of interested parties to discuss the topics listed below. I’m looking specifically at Saturday 16th November or later. Would you or another member of your staff be interested to take part? And can you think of anyone else that should be invited?

The key topics to discuss will be:

·         what form should the programme take (short course, PG Dip, Prof M, or M Phil?)

·         what topics to cover / outcomes are desirable for professional working in this sphere?

·         funding opportunities

I imagine it will be a half-day (morning) workshop, including tea and lunch. Please let me know if you have a preferred date or time (Saturday mornings are an option – FYI I am running a parallel workshop in Maritzburg on Saturday 9th November).
